Jonathan walked down to the pitch on the warm, cloudy day. It started to rain on Jonathan so he grapped out his beater's bat and bludger. Jonathan threw the bludger and soon it came back to him. He then hit the bludger to the other side of the pitch and changed his hair orange and his eyes black.
When Jonathan saw the bludger come back he flew downwards and came up. He saw the bludger was near him so he hit it towards the ground then hovered.

Alix was sat in the stands at the time when the rain started to fall. It had been so nice as well. The sun had been shining and giving her perfect time to read one of her many new spell books. Yet now, she ducked under a small piece of wood that was above her, hoping not to save herself from getting wet; she liked the rain, but to save her brand new book from getting ruining. "Darn." She muttered to herself as she saw droplets splash on the tender paper anyway and she knew it was time to close her book and give up on reading outside, yet she wasn't ready to go in just yet. Putting the dark black book into her shoulder bag she dumped the bag on the seat next to her and put her feet up in the bench in front. It wasn't often she would sit outside in the rain, letting the cool, cold droplets splash onto her, the cool breeze freezing her fingers and nose, making her cheeks and ears flush bright pink while they tried to retain their heat. Yet today she had come prepared, she had a pair of fingerless gloves on that her Uncle Max had sent her by owl. He hadn't been able to get it right seeing as he was only a Muggle, but it was the thought that counted after all wasn't it?
Hearing the bat of a beater's bat, Alix opened her eyes which had drifted close with her head facing up, letting the rain wash over her. By now her brown hair was soaking and her bright blue eyes sparkling with glee. She recognized the boy on the broom as the Hufflepuff quidditch captain. Nearly every Hufflepuff girl fancied the pants off of him, yet Alix couldn't see why. He was just another boy, going to a magical school who played the biggest sport in the wizarding world. What was the point when they had no chance. Yet, even with them thoughts she couldn't help but marvel at how easily he moved on the broom, dodged and ducked and hit the bludger with his bat. IT was pretty amazing, yet she only thought that because she could barely get a broom to stay still underneath her, she had no confidence at all on brooms. In fact, the first time she had even gone on one she had fallen off of it and broken her ankle. That hadn't been a good time or a very great memory.

Jonathan looked around when the bludger hit the ground. He noticed that a girl was sitting in the stands getting rained on. When the bludger came back towards him he hit it into the box which held it when he was not playing. As soon as the bludger got in the box he flicked his wand and it closed.
The rain started to come down harder so he went to the girl he noticed as a Hufflepuff. Hey you fly? he asked as he jumped on the stands next to her. Before he sat down he turned his hair orange and kept his eyes black.

Watching him put the bludger away, Alix sighed a little. Now she would have nothing to do but sit in the rain lie a total loner. Well, she was a loner but that wasn't the point, she wasn't even sure on the point herself. Sighing she looked back to her bag and smiled just slightly when the rain started to pour harder now, practically bouncing off of the benches and ground.
What did surprise her was when the boy came over and jumped off his broom, sitting down with her. His question took her a little by surprise, most people avoided her if they could, "Me? and brooms? No, they don't like me." She said, smiling gently. "But your a good flyer though."

Jonathan smile when she said he was a good flyer. Well I guess thats what you get when your parents are professional quidditch players. He said as he looked around to make sure no one else was around. Well as the Quidditch Captain I have all excess to the pitch unless someone is on it. So if you want I can teach you to fly. Jonathan said as he turned his hair pink.

Alix was a little taken aback when his hair changed from orange to pink. She hadn't ever seen that happen to anybody, could he control it? "They must be proud that your the Captain for Hufflepuff then." She said, she figured two Quidditch plays having a son who was good at the sport also much be really proud, she knew she would be. A child taking your favourite thing and being good at it himself.
"Oh sure, i mean, only if you have time..." Alix wasn't sure about being taught how to fly, she had managed to ditch the flying classes and had stayed as far away from a broom since. But maybe he could teach her in a way the teacher couldn't. Maybe he could make her fly.

Oh don't worry about time. I have all the time in the world. he said as he stood up and put his hand out to her. Now I can teach you one of two ways. One I go get another broom and teach you like that or two you can get on the front of this and I teach you like that, take your pick. he said as he hoped she would go for the second option.
Jonathan noticed the storm was gone for now but it would probably be back. He put his wand in his quididtch boot and waited for her to take her pick.

Alix stood up after he did and bit her lip slightly, she new she would probably fall off the broom if she went solo, yet if she was one the same broom as him he would stop her falling ... wouldn't he? She was sure she would so she shrugged slightly. "I'll choose with you." She smiled and sighed a little as the rain stopped, she hoped it would come back, she love the rain.
"You will make it so i don't fall off right?" She asked him as she looked his broom over, she wasn't scared to fall off ... she was just scared of looking like a complete idiot.

Of course you won't get hurt. What kind of person would I be? he replied as he set the broom in the mounting position. Climb on when you are ready he said as he watched her carefully to make sure nothing would happen.
Jonathan looked in the sky to make sure there was no heavy winds. First thing before flying is to make sure there are no heavy or harsh winds. the captain added

Seeing him get on the broom, Alix took a breath and mounted the front, holding on to the wood at the front. "I don't think yo uwould let me get hurt ... you just don't know me and brooms." Alix said with a bit of a laugh. The broom did feel alright if she was honest with herself, she had probably banished hte eel of brromsticks from her mind since her first lesson, but now it was actually okay, she could do this .... She could!
Hearing him say that her head zipped upwards to look at the sky, it was alreayd becomming a nice blue, no wind. Was that good? "Doesn't like like there's any bad wind." She said before frowning. "Urh .. heavey winds."

Jonathan looked back down and put his hands on her waist. Ok,when you are near the ground or getting on the broom just kick off with all your force and bring the nose of the broom up to go higher or push it down to go down. he said as he looked around. Jonathan started to filll weird and his hair started turning different colors at the same time 'So this must been what mom was talking about' he thaught

Alixnodded and bit her lip slightly and nodded. "Alright." Taking a big breath she was greatful for his hands on her waist as she kicked off like she saw the players do, and like he had told her. She gave a little gasp as the broom actually did want she wanted and flew in a straight line, "Urm ok ... how do you move?" She asked him, only now forgetting what she was ever taught about broomsticks. Though to be fair one lesson didn't make things stick and she was sure he would know a lot, hell he was Captain!

To move you lean your body that way but tell me first so I can lean with you. Jonathan said as he looked down. They was a good 30 feet off the ground. Now the biggest trick is to not look down he said with a laugh. When the girl wasn't paying attention he pulled his wand out and said Flagrate. He wrote the words Will you go out with me he then put the wand up let go of her waist.

Alix nodded, still hlding on to the broom quite tightly. As soon as he said not to look down, her first instinct was to look down. Although, if she was honest it didn't really bother her, she figured it was because she wasn't on the broom herself and she already trusted him. "It's not too bad looking down actually ... not as bad as i thought." She said to him, feeling him let go of her waist she wanted to look back but didn't with some fear that she might let go and fall all the way back down to the Quidditch field.
Yet seeing the words will you go out with me Alix couldn't help but turn her head to see who else was around he could be saying that too, only then noticing there was no one her heart seemed like it skipped a beat. Was he asking her out? "Me?" She asked rather stupidly.

Jonathan nodded as he looked at her. Yes,why not? he asked as he grabbed her waist. 'I hope she says yea' he thaught. The rain started to start up. When it started to rain he reached in his bag and pulled out a chocolate frog and started to eat it. Want some?
