THE SITE RULES

I understand the rules can be a little overbearing but they are in place for a reason, if you break one then expect there to be consequences, they are in place so that everyone can have a fun RP experience on the site. To try and avoid the boredom that comes with reading rules I have tried to make them as simple as possible, this means that not everything is explained in depth. If you have a problem with one of the rules or you don't understand them then PM an admin. If you do not do this you are stating that you understand and agree to the rules of the forum.

There is no special word that you have to find, no password or phrase to type, but please ensure you read the rules and understand each individually because the consequences will be the same whether you have read them or not

General Board Rules;;

1. Discrimination/Prejudice of any kind will not be tolerated OOC. I realize there will be some IC discrimination but please keep it there.
2. Do not post anywhere IC until your application is accepted (this includes celeb/ability/etc claims). You may post in the OOC boards.
3. No advertising outside the appropriate areas; they are there for a reason; this includes via PM and in your signature. In your profile there is a place for your site link to go; you are allowed to add your site there.
4. Please be active (online and posting IC at least twice a week) and notify us in the absences board if you are leaving (board can be found in the members box)
5. No OOC fights, if there is a problem you have with another member PM an administrator and we will help you sort it out.
6. Be respectful to admins and other members, the forum is suppose to be fun and we don't want people ruining it.
7. You must have an avatar OR signature displaying your character's celeb. Please refrain from having other celebrities (unless they represent relatives on the forum) in your sig or av. You are allowed to have both if you wish, naturally. At the same time please keep avatars and signatures at a decent size and do not stretch the forum or the admins will remove the images.
8. Admins word is law. If asked to do something by an admin or member of staff please do not argue; if you have issues with it PM to make a complaint.
9. Please ensure that your display name is set to your character's first and last name.
10. Posting inappropriate pictures/videos and telling other members to look is an automatic suspension. You don't know how old someone is and if they'll take it offensively.


Character Rules;;

1. Do not play more than one person from each family (this includes cousins, aunts, etc). I cannot stop you if you are playing an original character of your own creation but for canons and originals created by another member of the forum this is prohibited.
2. You are permitted as many characters as you can keep active. If you cannot keep them active do not make them. Please try and make at least 2 male characters though, after all the world is not populated by women!
3. Of your total characters you are allowed no more than 3 canons, just to make sure everyone gets a chance to choose one.
4. No Mary-Su's or God-Modding, c'mon guys we are all suppose to be at a decent level, I don't want to see this.


Role-Playing Rules;;

1. Swearing is permitted to an extent... please don't go overboard we don't need every second word to be f this and f that, its not nice.
2. No lengthy OOC chat in IC threads, keep it to PMs, the Chat Box and the OOC boards, thats what they are there for.
3. Write in third person and nothing else when posting IC. In relationships threads its ok to post in first person.

The following RP rule I have deemed it necessary to give in detail, please ensure you understand them completely before proceeding to your application.

4. PREGNANCIES, MARRIAGES, RELATIONSHIPS, SEX, VIOLENCE: WHAT IS PERMITTED?
The first golden rule; all pregnancies and marriages along with deaths must be run past an admin before RPing, this is because these are classified as subplots on occasion. Pregnancy plots must be seen by an admin before you post your application. In regards to sexual threads they are not permitted on the site Posts regarding violence and drugs are permitted within reason, if you think your post goes a little overboard then DON'T POST IT.
